Upma (south indian wheat dish)

Ingredients
1 tablespoon of mustard seeds
1 garlic clove and 1/2 tsp ginger
1 tablespoon of oil
2 tomatoes
1 onion
2 carrots
Curry leaves 10
I red chilli
1 green chilli
Pinch of salt and red chilli powder
1 spoon coriander powder
8oz roasted surgee (wheat farina)

Heat oil in the pan
Sauté mustard seeds for a few mins
Add ginger and garlic
Sauté onion until translucent
Add tomatoes and curry leaves
Immediately Add Pinch of salt and red chilli powder and spoon of
Coriander powder
Add the roasted surgee and cook for
10 mins
Add 4 cups of water and cook for 10 mins




Okra

Ingredients
30 okra
1 tsp coriander seeds
1 tsp amchur (mango powder)
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp salt

Grind all of the spices in a grinder
Slit the bindis horizontally
Add the mix of ground spices
Fill the okra with 1/2 tsp of spices
In a tablespoon of oil sauté bindis on low heat for 30 mins
Or until softness desired
